A Masterclass-Inspired Film Series That Delivered Exceptional ROI
My team at Enrollment Marketing and I were tasked by the graduate school admissions team to create a compelling film series to recruit potential graduate students. Drawing inspiration from the sleek, high-quality aesthetics of MasterClass productions, we aimed to craft a visually engaging yet relatable experience.
Our team developed the branding for the Graduate School series, incorporating Gallaudet University’s primary colors—dark blue/navy and buff—while using thin buff borders to frame faculty members as they highlighted their respective programs. We handled every aspect of the project, from pre-production to post-production, ensuring a strategic distribution of the final deliverables.
What started as a large-scale initiative became even bigger than anticipated. However, the results exceeded expectations—graduate school enrollment saw a significant increase, possibly as high as 40% (pending final data).
Beyond the numbers, this project was an incredible collaboration. We worked closely with faculty, a talented film crew—including the director, cinematographer, and script supervisor—as well as interpreters who provided voiceovers, ensuring accessibility as all faculty members signed in the films.
It was an honor to bring this project to life, navigating both its challenges and successes. The impact made it all worthwhile.
